Details of the day
Inspired by reading my (very) old blogposts, I decided to get a teeny bit more personal today! No more stories about school, exams, presentations and grades I got, but just a little bit about my day :) I went to the chiropractor this morning (I’ve had this annoying painful spot in back for a while now, but it’s finally getting better!), wore my favorite comfy outfit & my most awesome earrings, went superfood shopping, spotted a big fire truck with my almost-3-year-old nephew and worked on my gradution project. Oh, and I started watching a new show: Drop Dead Diva. Kinda weird, but I like it so far. Here is today in a few (fashion) pictures:
I wore my hair in two braids today. Oh, and I did put on some more warm clothes when I went outside, which was very necessary today unfortunately!
Curacao creatures: unseen shots
While I was living on Curaçao (which was from August last year until January this year), of course I took a lot of pictures. Especially at my internship – I got paid for it even ;) But in the free time I had at work, I also took pictures. Especially a lot of the dolphins at the Dolphin Academy, but also much of other creatures that were to be found there. I wanted to share some yet unseen shots I took. And this will probably not be the last time I do that ;) Enjoy!
Favorites: photography oldies
I was looking through my Flickr account (
link) and I realized it has already been almost
6 years since I started with photography! At first I
just took pictures, but slowly I tried to figure out more about photography, and started using my mom’s SLR camera. With her permission, of course ;) In 2008 I got my own camera and it was official: I was in love with taking pictures. Still am ;) Here are some of my favorite “old” pictures I took in ’07 and ’08! I kind of feel like these are images I can never top!
This was 2012
Wow, almost time for
2013 already! I know I’ve said it a hundred times before, but it’s still true:
time flies! Can’t believe how fast it goes sometimes. I’m sure you all can relate to that! As the new year is coming soon, I wanted to look back on the year I’ve had and do a little summary, in both words and pictures!
In
January I rang in the new year with good friends, went to Berlin for a few days to kick off my minor at school (learning about graphic design, art direction, photography!) & started in my Q&A a day diary.
February was a very busy, a very cold & a very snowy month. I had to do a lot of school work – which also involved taking a lot of pictures, went to Antwerp for a few days, did a day trip to Amsterdam with my mom to take pictures & decided I wanted to be healthier and change my diet.
In
March I stopped eating sugar, did a lot of fun school assignments (made an inspiration book and a
nail polish box) & I baked a cake (which failed terribly – too bad) for my 22nd birthday on the 20th.
In
April I was still eating much healthier, I discovered my love for baking things, I tried out HDR photography, celebrated Queen’s Day, sorted out my nail polishes and put on pink lipstick to celebrate my birthday with friends.
